So you want some exposure to people, eh? Well thats what Im going to tell you how to do.
1. Have something worthwhile and with quality
It goes without saying that unless some fluke happens, you are going to need something people our going to watch. Work on your skills, and know what you are doing. With how vast the internet is anymore, resources are available EVERYWHERE so use them.
2. Network
Before you can be the community, you must be part of it first. That means hang out at the popular blogs, forums and websites. You will be surprised when you find that knowing the
webmaster of your favorite site will land you front page upon your movie release.
3. Join a community
Although the internet being so big has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages. One of the main disadvantages is the fact that individuals are often overlooked. Join a community that has similar goals as yourself and they can help you get noticed. Two men are twice as strong as one, now just imagine a whole community.
NOT RECOMMENDED WAYS OF MAKING IT BIG
These are every increasing tactics on the internet but dont do them. They are lame and end up hiding the real talent.
1. False youtube titles and promotion.
The ever increasing idea of misinforming a viewer so they will click and watch you video is not a good one. Sure it will give you alot of views and publicity but it will end up biting you in the ass.
2. Spamming other blogs about your content
Dont use other peoples blog comment sections for your own promotion. It only makes it a pain in the ass for the blog owner to clean out all the junk. Instead make an interesting and RELEVANT comment about that topic at hand. A well written comment will get you more clicks then pure self-promotion.
